Alphabet Belgium strengthens trust in used electric cars with an independent battery diagnosis and battery warranty

The used electric vehicle market is growing fast. As it does, the value, performance and life of a used EV is increasingly dependent on the battery. Yet many buyers find it hard to assess the actual state of the battery. Alongside how many kilometres are on the clock, battery health is now one of the key factors when buying a used electric car.

That’s why Alphabet Belgium has decided to offer an independent AVILOO Battery Certificate for the sale of ex-lease electric cars. The certificate gives buyers an objective assessment of battery health, delivering transparent, verifiable data to remove one of the main sources of uncertainty around used EVs.

Whether the car is sold to a professional car dealer, a lessee at the end of a lease contract or a private driver on the used car market, the AVILOO Battery Certificate gives buyers more certainty by providing the data needed to set a fair price for used electric vehicles.

Among other things, the certificate gives insight into the battery’s State of Health (SoH).
