Alphabet introduces the “Top Used Car Trader of the Year” award for the best B2B buyers

Alphabet proudly introduces the ‘Top Used Car Trader of the Year’ award, a new distinction that highlights the best professional buyers of used lease cars. With this award, Alphabet recognizes the outstanding performance of the most active, reliable, and successful buyers.

 

Top Used Car Trader of the Year 2026

Every year, over 15,000 cars reach the end of their leasing contract at Alphabet. Some drivers choose to buy out their car at the end of the leasing contract via the Business to Driver programme. This lets them keep their car that they know and like.

The majority of drivers receive a new lease car at the end of their contract. The cars that are not bought out by the drivers are sold by Alphabet to car dealers in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.

 

Alphabet has its own auction platform especially for professional customers. On this platform, car dealers can bid against each other to buy the cars. After a dealer acquires a car, it is offered as a used car to new buyers through the dealer’s own channels.

This auction platform ensures a transparent and efficient sales process, giving cars a second life while maximising market value. In this way, Alphabet contributes to sustainability and a responsible circular economy within the mobility sector.

 

Alphabet is proud to announce the launch of a unique award that highlights our best B2B buyers: the “Top Used Car Trader of the Year”.

This award highlights the excellence and professionalism of buyers who stand out in their performance via our proprietary auction platform. The award is given to the five best buyers of the past year, distinguished by their active participation, reliability and successful transactions.
